Who am I?

An all-weather creative – a wordster and conceptual mind with a strategic overview. After all, this game’s about gut-given originality and sound science.

Dragged up in the UK’s wild west, I studied fashion illustration before circumnavigating London’s theatres, newspapers and magazines – dressing, styling and writing.

Cue the ‘eureka’ moment. Landing at Bristol CX agency Indicia, I got to understand the pulling power of concepts and well-chosen words.

I’ve learnt from the best – those revered and those simply blessed. Learning keeps the work relevant – ideas and words rooted in human behaviour and enhanced by best practice.

Now, after 15 years in-house and in agencies, such as Havas CX, I’m a seasoned freelance Senior Copywriter. I bring proven success in shaping comms, boosting sales and amplifying brand love.

And I love it.

Hunger for buttery toast and that next big idea gets me up in the mornings. For me, it’s about creating chemistry between people and brands. Ultimately, in art as in science, all the fun’s in getting that reaction.
