The brief

To fill the gap in the market for solid advice and support for new pet parents for the whole journey – from preparation to pet adolescence. Bringing home a new kitten or puppy is an exciting time but the sense of responsibility itty coupled with many unknowns can be overwhelming.

The insight

Millennial and Gen Z are the fastest-growing pet-owning segment, they’re also likely to be first-time pet owners so would have more questions than most. We were to target them across the social and media channels they loved, including YouTube and instagram.

The solution

A truly empathetic campaign that showed Pets at Home as the go-to place for new pet owners at every stage. We repositioned the existing Puppy and Kitten clubs and showed their distinct support – answering owner questions ahead of time, presenting practical solutions and services, plus timely offers too.
